'Just Add Magic' Teen Actor Tyler Sanders Cause of Death Revealed

The cause of Tyler Sanders‘s death has been revealed.

The actor, best known for his work on the Amazon Prime Video series Just Add Magic: Mystery City, 9-1-1: Lone Star and Fear the Walking Dead, passed away at the young age of 18 back in June.

According to his autopsy report, Tyler, who was found dead at his home in Los Angeles, died from the effects of fentanyl.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner declared his death was accidental, via TMZ.

Sources tell the outlet he “had a history of drug use and police found a plastic straw and white powder in the room where he died.”

In the autopsy report, Tyler told a friend in text messages the night before his death he was using fentanyl, and he did not answer phone calls from the friend after sending the text.

He reportedly had a history of drug abuse, including heroin, cocaine, LSD, mushrooms and Xanax. Illicit drugs were reportedly found in the bathroom of his home, where he lived alone.

At the time of his death, Tyler‘s agent Pedro Tapia told Deadline, “Tyler was a talented actor with a bright future. He comes from a wonderful family, and we ask that you respect their privacy at this time.”
