Farmers under the banner of Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) Charuni held protests outside the residences of MLAs in Naraingarh, Ambala, Shahabad, Kurukshetra, Jagadhri and Yamunanagar, demanding increase in State Advised Price (SAP) of sugarcane up to Rs 450 per quintal.
