Indianapolis police say a man holding a woman inside a semitruck was fatally shot by an officer after he entered the truck’s cabin and found the man on top of the bleeding woman. Thursday night's shooting unfolded after officers were called to a parking lot about a woman calling for help from inside a semi truck. Police say the man told officers he had a knife and said “I’m going to kill her” before officers heard the woman cry out, “I’m dying, help me.” Police say an officer fatally shot the man after officers entered the truck and found the woman bleeding and the man on top of her.
