URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST

MONDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6

inches.

* WHERE...Northwestern Connecticut, western Massachusetts, and

the Capital Region, the Saratoga region, the mid Hudson Valley

and Taconics of eastern New York.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions due to snow covered

roadways, along with reduced visibilities.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall rates between 0.50 and 0.75 of an

inch per hour will be possible at times through early this

evening which could result in hazardous travel conditions. Snow

should taper off in intensity later this evening.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches.

* WHERE...Portions of northern Connecticut, central and western

Massachusetts and northern Rhode Island.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous

conditions could impact the morning commute.
