NATIONAL SUMMARY
With subfreezing temperatures remaining in place for most
of the central and eastern United States tomorrow, a quick
moving clipper system will bring a broad area of light snow
to the Midwest and Ohio Valley. Snow should mainly be light
in intensity, however a general 1 to 3 inches of snow
accumulation can be expected from Iowa to eastern Ohio and
Kentucky. Conditions will remain cold across much of the
Plains, however temperatures will continue to steadily rise
compared to recent days. Farther west, steady rain will
arrive in coastal portions of the Northwest. Rain will be
ongoing in western Oregon and Washington for most of the
day, moving into Northern California by the evening hours.
Some high elevation snow is also expected.
