Rams QB Matthew Stafford (thumb) misses practice

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford missed practice Wednesday with the right thumb injury he sustained in last week's game.

Stafford was diagnosed with a UCL sprain in his throwing thumb after making contact with helmets while throwing in Sunday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

Rams coach Sean McVay said Wednesday that Stafford is day-to-day and has not been ruled out
