A leopard strayed into a village in Nuh district, injuring a cattle herder and attacking some cattle. Wildlife officials have been deployed to search for the leopard, although no pug marks have been found yet. The villagers spotted the leopard near a water drain and it is believed to have entered the village in search of food. Over the years, leopards have frequently been spotted in the region, leading to increased precautions and rescue operations.
