The state government of Karnataka is considering a policy to recognize and appreciate organ donors and their families. The health and family welfare minister mentioned that the government should acknowledge the donors by giving them certificates. The government is also studying the Tamil Nadu-model of honoring organ donors. The aim is to create awareness and encourage more people to pledge their organs.
