The Yamuna Authority in Noida, India, is set to launch a scheme to establish an industrial township for Japanese nationals. The proposed township will cover 500 acres and will attract Japanese companies in sectors such as electronics, chips, semiconductors, and AI. The state cabinet has recently approved a new Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) policy, offering exemptions in land costs and stamp duties, in an effort to attract more companies to establish factories. The township will also provide facilities such as schools and hospitals for Japanese nationals, creating a self-sufficient unit.
