Shivam Khajuria has explained why he left the show "Kumkum Bhagya," stating that there were creative changes and a leap planned for the series. He has now joined the cast of "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" as a parallel lead. Shivam shared that he was not in talks for the new role when he quit his previous show, but everything fell into place later. In the new show, he plays the character Rohit, who has a strained relationship with his father but shares a bond with his step-brother, Armaan.
