I nabbed a load of beauty sets in Boots for half-price – the Dove collection comes with a travel bag and is so beautiful
A SHOPPER has urged people to run to Boots after the pharmaceutical giant has slashed some of its big-brand beauty and selfcare sets by better than half-price.
The bargains have been dubbed “perfect for Christmas gifts” and include the likes of Dove, Lynx, Bayliss & Harding and Champneys.
One shopper took to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK to alert other Brits of the little-known discounts.
She picked up four Lynx gift sets and a Dove one that comes complete with a wash bag.
“All half-price and online as well,” they explained. “They do the big Lynx sets but all body sprays so I have ordered three.
“These in my pictures are just body washes. Then a set with spray and body wash and a speaker. The small one is socks and Lynx.
“The Dove set in the bag is beautiful, I had to get it.”
The Dove Time to Enjoy Collection Gift Set comes with six beauty products and is better than half-price.
Originally priced at £30, it is now £14.50 ahead of Christmas.
It contains Dove’s Reviving Pomegranate Body Wash, which has a “refreshing pomegranate scent” and is infused with moisturising cream for extra hydration.
There’s also the Dove Relaxing Coconut Body Wash and Body Love Restoring Care Hand Cream infused with Coconut oil and Almond milk.
The set contains two deodorants: Dove’s Go Fresh Advanced Care Pomegranate Scent Anti-perspirant Deodorant and Advanced Care Invisible Dry Anti-perspirant Aerosol.
The Dove Pink Beauty Bar is also included. It is a moisturising bar soap that leaves skin softer, smoother and healthier looking.
“This set is the perfect gift for her for any occasion,” Boots bosses said.
Other beauty gift sets reduced ahead of the festive season are the Champneys Gym Essentials set, which is now £24.50 down from £50.
In a branded holdall bag from the spa brand, you get a charcoal soap, body spray, bath soak, face wash, and hair and body wash.
There’s also Sanctuary Spa’s Ultimate Self-Care Spa Gift Set for £26.50 rather than £54.
The cruelty free set includes a bath foam, two body washes, body butter, heel balm, body lotion, body puff and a wellness sleep mist.
