EMMERDALE fans were shocked after Lydia Dingle star Karen Blick revealed her real age on Instagram while celebrating her birthday.
Fans of the soap flooded the actress with birthday wishes as she celebrated another happy year.
Karen, who plays Lydia Dingle in the ITV soap, celebrated her birthday recently.
The TV star shared some snaps from her special day on Instagram.
The collection of images included a selfie of her blissfully beaming away at the camera and a few pictures of some gifts she received from her loved ones.
She captioned the post: “Last year of my 40s!
“Had a great day so far and feeling very grateful, morning walk, lovely cards, messages, homemade gifts and cake! X”
Fans were dumbfounded to learn that the Emmerdale star had just celebrated her 49th birthday, with many surprised at the revelation as one penned: “No way are you 49! I thought you were much younger, Karen.”
A second wrote: “Happy Birthday Karen, I thought you were late 30s… you look amazing.”
Another user added: “Omg you, do not look like your in your last year of your forties @karenblick1. I think you look younger than that lovely. Have a fab birthday.”
