Bindi Irwin Shares ‘Sweet’ Video of Daughter Grace With Her Uncle Robert & It’s Giving Us All the Feels
Parenthood is full of joyful moments. One that we don’t often talk about is how much fun it is to see your siblings become aunts and uncles! I’m close with my brothers and sisters, and I love seeing how they interact and love my kids as if they were their own. Bindi Irwin just shared a new video of her brother Robert Irwin playing with her daughter Grace Warrior, 2, and it’s such a wholesome moment!
“I loved filming this sweet moment with @roriebuckey & @robertirwinphotography,” Bindi posted on her Instagram Story on Wednesday. She linked to a reel shared by Robert’s girlfriend, Rorie Buckey.
In the precious video, Bindi zooms in on Robert and Buckey standing on either side of Grace. They are pushing the toddler on a swing attached to a tree in the Australia Zoo, and it is so cute. Grace is dressed in a pink shirt with a green sunhat, and just happily swinging on the beautiful sunny day as the two teens gently push her back and forth.
“Special times with Grace ????????,” Buckey captioned the photo. Robert commented, “Grace ❤️.” Bindi also commented on the video, “♥️ I’m so thankful Grace gets to grow up surrounded by so much love. She’s very lucky to have you and @robertirwinphotography in her life.” Aww! The family love is so sweet it’s making us emotional.
Robert often shares photos of his only niece. In one family photo, which included Bindi’s husband Chandler Powell, Bindi and Robert’s mom Terri Irwin, Buckley, Bindi, Robert, Grace, and some friends, Robert wrote, “The best times with the best people ❤️.”
In another, Robert and Powell both ran outside with Grace sprinting in front of them (all three with huge smiles on their faces, of course). “Trying to keep up with Grace! ???? Love being her uncle!” he wrote.
Their relationship is so sweet, and we love how Grace has embraced her uncle’s girlfriend, too. The Irwin family couldn’t be cuter.
