Amazing vocalist Lauren Daigle brings concert tour to Northern California
Lauren Daigle is back with another terrific album.
The self-titled set — which was released in two parts, spaced out by four months earlier this year — is the amazing vocalist’s fourth consecutive platter to hit No. 1 the Christian album charts.
Previous chart-toppers include a pair of platinum-certified success stories — 2015’s “How Can It Be” and 2018’s “Look Up Child” — as well as the wonderful seasonal offering “Behold: A Christmas Collection.” (The latter possesses one of the greatest version of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” that we’ve ever heard.)
The first single from the album is the memorable “Thank God I Do,” which also managed to take the top spot on the Christian music charts.
Daigle is supporting the eponymous outing with a major road show — dubbed the Kaleidoscope Tour — which includes a stop on Nov. 14 at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento. Showtime is 7:30 p.m., ticketmaster.com.
Fans will turn out to hear tracks from the new album as well as such longtime favorites as “You Say,” “Rescue” and “Look Up Child.”
Victory Boyd, a hugely talented soul singer, is also on the bill (and will hopefully perform her fantastic version of the Nina Simone classic “Feeling Good”).
