Aztek Logistics gets tops marks for operational excellence

Aztek Logistics has achieved an A+ standard brand reputation compliance global standard (BRCGS) following an unannounced inspection of its storage and distribution facilities.

It is the ninth year in a row the company has secured the supply chain award from the BRCGS, awarded after an audit of its supply chain practices and analysis of its facilities and vehicles.

Businesses working in food safety, packaging materials or storage and distribution with a BRCGS certification will receive at least one unannounced audit every three years.

Stuart Charter, Aztek MD, said: “This recognition of our operational excellence doesn’t happen by accident – it’s down to the work of a diligent, dedicated team which never rests on its laurels.

“All BRCGS accreditations are hard-earned, but it’s particularly pleasing to receive an A+ standard score after an unannounced audit.

“It proves our attention to detail is second to none every day, not just when we know the inspectors are coming.”

Earlier this year, the Hertfordshire haulier celebrated its 20th anniversary after being founded in 2003 by white goods and TV installer Stuart Charter in Letchworth Garden City.
