The killing of sub-divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Chingtham Anand Kumar in Moreh is suspected to be linked to the newly established People's Protection Force (PPF). Sources, requesting anonymity, suggest that the shooting of the police officer was carried out under the guidance of a Kuki militant outfit commander.
