QAnon queen headed for standoff with anxious locals in rural Canada: 'Topple her reign'
The so-called QAnon Queen of Canada and her followers have taken over an abandoned school in rural Saskatchewan, and townspeople are mobilizing to drive them out.
Romana Didulo and members of her cult moved into the building around Sept. 18 after a follower gave the property to them, and the group records video of anyone who comes near the school's fence out of fear that locals will poison their dogs or burn them out, according to internal communication obtained by Vice News.
“It’s been a long month,” said Arlene Miller, the wife of Richmound's mayor. “I can sleep, but we get up earlier and just start running. Both our phones are hot.”
Residents have banded together online in opposition to the group, who call townspeople "Nazis" during their nightly livestreams, and tensions have worsened as members of the media and uniformed members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) have descended on the town of about 130 people.

“I’ve never seen that many cops here in all my life,” said a local named Pat, who asked to remain anonymous. “We made the joke that 40 years ago my buddies and I wouldn’t have wanted to see that many cops here because we were trying to sneak home from the bar.”
Parents have stopped allowing their children to play on a nearby playground, and both official and unofficial emissaries from the town have been turned away when they've tried to meet with Didulo.
“When I go in my hot tub, it’s in the backyard, I feel like I can’t go now and just sit there enjoying myself,” said Mayor Brad Miller. “I feel like I need to have some kind of protection with me.”
Richmound local Rick Manz gave the school to Didulo after originally trying to turn the space into a cannabis growing operation, which many residents supported, but the former athlete and karate black belt is fully committed to the "Kingdom of Canada" and its ruler, and even was arrested Oct. 7 and charged with three counts of intimidation and one count of assault in an altercation with another local.

“I think deep down he has a heart, but he went down the rabbit hole way too far," the mayor said. "He has nothing to come back on, and he just thinks she's going to be the savior for him and he's going to get a rude awakening.”
Miller is hoping to evict Didulo and disband her group, saying he doesn't want to "pass the buck" to another town.
“Wouldn’t it be nice if Saskatchewan, good ol’ Saskatchewan, could topple her reign?” Miller said.
