Manoj Jarange Patil, who on Thursday met representatives from the state government, said if the Marathas are not given reservation within two months, he will shut down the state, including Mumbai, socially and financially. In a change of strategy, the Maharashtra government, which till date was sending its ministers and MLAs to meet Patil, on Thursday sent two former judges to convince Patil to end his fast.
