Ham recall 2023: Throw out this Canadian-imported ham immediately, USDA warns
A Canadian importer in Quebec, Canada, is recalling about 11,000 pounds of ham due to its lack of re-inspection in the U.S., according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).)
Just days after the massive onion recall, yet another dinner staple is being recalled. Federal regulators discovered the problem during a routine inspection of imported products, and they found that the ham products had not been presented for re-inspection in front of U.S. officials.
No illnesses have been reported as a result of consuming these products, according to the FSIS.)
