Mum, 44, found dead in Wigan tower block is named as ‘dearly loved’ Caroline Gore – with man, 56, charged with murder
A MAN has been charged with the murder of “dearly loved” mum Caroline Gore, who was found dead at a tower block in Wigan on Monday night.
Caroline Gore, 44, was tragically discovered lifeless at Douglas House, in Scholes at around 8pm by emergency services.

David Liptrot, 56, of Shelley Avenue, Coppull, Lancashire, remains in custody.
He is set to appear for a hearing at Manchester Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.
In an emotional tribute to Caroline, her grief stricken family told GMP: “We as a family are heartbroken and saddened at the loss of Caroline Gore.
“A dearly loved mum, daughter and sister has been tragically taken way too soon.
“At this time we as a family ask for privacy and show respect for Caroline and her memory.
“We ask that members of the public allow the Police to conduct the investigation into the passing of Caroline and that any information is passed to them.”
Detective Inspector Alex Wilkinson from the force’s Major Incident Team said ‘’Our thoughts remain with Caroline’s family who continue to be supported by specially trained officers and are aware of the progress being made in this investigation.
“As a result of our enquiries, a man has been charged with murder however I would like to continue to appeal that anyone with information about Caroline’s death make contact with police.

The cause of Caroline’s death has not yet been revealed.
