Kerry Katona under fire for putting Christmas tree up ‘ridiculously’ early – but it’s her last festive period in the UK
KERRY Katona has been slammed by fans for putting her Christmas tree up ‘ridiculously’ early.
The former Atomic Kitten star, 43, has shared how she has already decorated her house.
Kerry admitted she didn’t do much for Halloween so wanted to go all out for the festive period.
Writing in her OK! column, she said: “I can’t wait. I’m working all of December so if I put them up then, I won’t be at home to enjoy them.”
It’s also the singer’s last Christmas in the UK before she packs up and moves to Marbella with her fiancé Ryan Mahoney.
Katona explained: “I want to be able to really get into the Christmas spirit and feel festive, so I’ll spend November doing that.
“Especially as it’ll be our last Christmas before we move to Spain.”
However, her followers haven’t been as enthusiastic about her early preparations for the big day.
Writing under one of Kerry’s Instagram posts, one follower said: “No not before Remembrance Sunday!”
A second wrote: “Noooooo!”
“If only. This neverending nighmare is just that. No end in sight,” said a third.
While a fourth commented: “Kerry! Far too soon.”
Mum-of-five Kerry revealed the reason behind her decision to move to Spain as she feels ‘better’ over there.
She said: “We will start looking at schools soon to get an idea of what we’re getting into.
“So much of my work is online now, so it does make sense to think about a new start.”
