Kate Middleton’s clever hair hack to make sure she looks perfect all the time – even when it’s windy

EVER wondered why Kate Middleton never has a single hair out of place, even when it is windy?

It turns out she has a very clever hack that keeps her looking pristine at all times.

Hair stylist Bekah claims Kate’s fringe stays firmly in place with spray[/caption]

In a clip from her recent public engagement doing a Dad Walk with a community group who call themselves the “Dadvengers”, the Princess of Wales wore her hair down and wavy.

However, when the wind blew, Kate’s side fringe and locks remained firmly in place.

US hairdresser @bekah_and_co uploaded a video revealing the royal mum-of-three’s very simple secret.

She said: “Watch her hair, the wind blows, her hair doesn’t move at all.

“She uses tons of hairspray to keep her hair in place, to keep her bangs in place.

“If you want bangs and you are living in a windy city or a humid city, you have to use product in order to keep them still.”

Bekah personally recommended using “Oribe superfine strong hold hairspray, redken 32, bumble strong.”

The hairdresser uploaded a follow-up clip showing the difference hairspray makes in windy conditions.

Many royal fans were quick to comment, with one saying: “I was actually thinking the exact same thing today, how come her hair never moves.”

Another added: “I’d hate to think how long she has to spent on her hair.”

To achieve her enviable locks, Kate is said to visit talented stylist Richard Ward, who owns a salon just off London’s King’s Road.

Richard has now become synonymous with Kate’s signature hairdo – the ‘Chelsea blow dry’.

And he said perfecting the look starts from the very beginning and is as simple as using the right styling products, one of which being his own brand’s bulking spritz.

As part of an exclusive tutorial with People Magazine, he revealed: “It’s very important to apply the products in the right way – don’t do it all at once, do it in small little sections.

“This is where we need to get the root lift and have a little bit of hold on the curl. That is your foundation for your beautiful blow dry.”

While many people rely on curling tongs or expensive hair gadgets to achieve the perfect curl, Ward favours a good old-fashioned roller.

He said each section of hair needs to be “tightly rolled” and, as you take it out, you need to lightly twist it around your fingers.

That’s something that former Vogue Editor-In-Chief Alex Schulman confirmed that about Kate when she recalled the Royal arriving at the magazine’s photoshoot for their centenary issue with rollers in her hair.

And, according to the experts, this is a nifty hair trick, as hair that has been curled by heat only sets when it’s cooled completely – so leaving it in the roller helps perfect the process.

Eagle-eyed Royal fans have noticed that Kate has a secret hack when it comes to keeping her up-dos in place for hours on end – a hair net.

The barely visible accessory was spotted by The Revelist on one occasion when Kate was sporting an updo.

Hairnets help keep stray hairs in place, but to avoid drawing attention to them, you need to follow Kate’s lead and opt for a very thin, delicate net that is colour matched to the shade of your hair.

Today, the stylish Princess of Wales and hubby Prince William looked as adorable as ever as they were cycling around picturesque Scotland.

The duo, mum and dad to Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, have travelled to Scotland to spend the day in Burghead, Moray and Inverness.

As the fashion icon visited the Outfit Moray charity which delivers outdoor learning programmes to young people, 41-year-old Kate looked as elegant as ever, sporting a khaki quilted jacket with tartan print.

Prepared for the cold weather, the Royal had layered the jacket over a black turtleneck jumper, a pair of black jeans, as well as heavy-duty boots.

Meanwhile, Prince William, 41, looked just as sharp in a similar style khaki jacket he was wearing with navy trousers.
