'Make me look sexy': Don Jr. urges courtroom sketch artist to work her magic

Donald Trump Jr. asked the courtroom sketch artist in the New York fraud trail to "make me look sexy" on his second day of testifying Thursday, reported Reuters.

This comes on top of a number of other revelations from the eldest son of the former president during the trial, including claims that he delegated all financial issues to accountants and wasn't aware of any fraudulent evaluations, even while admitting he signed off on at least one.

According to Reuters, Trump Jr. stopped to talk to courtroom artist Jane Rosenberg as his testimony ended. He specifically mentioned her recent sketch of Sam Bankman-Fried, the cryptocurrency tycoon currently on trial for allegedly stealing money from banking clients at FTX to use on risky investments in his hedge fund.

That image depicted Bankman-Fried as far more muscular and chiseled than he actually is, and Trump Jr. demanded that he be made to look like a "superstar" the way Bankman-Fried was.

Trump Jr.'s testimony was followed by that of his brother, Eric, with sister Ivanka Trump and former Trump himself expected to be called in the coming days.

The case turns on Attorney General Letitia James' accusation that the Trumps systematically lied about the value, and even sometimes the square footage, of their property assets in order to get more favorable loan deals and other financial considerations. Trump has claimed that all the valuations are subjective, and that there is no actual injury because the loans were all repaid.

Judge Arthur Engoron has already ruled in summary judgment for James, leaving the present trial a matter of determining damages.
