Kristaps Porziņģis Puts NBA on Notice as Celtics Are ‘Beating These Teams Easy’
Kristaps Porziņģis appears to be enjoying his time with the Celtics following the trade that brought him to town this offseason. He also certainly isn’t lacking any confidence in this year’s Boston group, and his recent comments proved that to be the case, while also putting the NBA on notice a bit.
When discussing how good the Celtics have been through the 4–0 start to the year, Porzingis made it known that while they’re beating teams “easy,” it’s only going to get better.
“It might look really good already because we’re beating these teams easy but it’s going to get much better,” Porzingis told The Athletic's Jay King.
Porziņģis has impressed so far this year and is playing at an extremely efficient level. He’s averaged 18.8 points while shooting a career-best 55.8% from the field and a stellar 45% from three-point range. The 7’ 2” forward has also averaged 7.3 rebounds and 1.5 blocks while logging just under 30 minutes per game.
