Masterchef The Professionals star reveals they’re engaged on the BBC show
MASTERCHEF The Professionals star revealed that they are engaged on the BBC show tonight.
This evening’s instalment of the programme saw the remaining chefs battle it out for a place in the semi-finals.
For the quarter-finals the contestants were given an ‘invention test with a twist’.
The first task from tonight’s episode was about food wastage – and the chefs were given four ingredients that are wasted more than others.
They had to create a dish with bread, milk, potatoes and banana in 70 minutes.
Private chef Molly, 26, picked milk, bread and potato for her take on champ mash – so made a potato cake with spring onion, chives and poached haddock.
The Leeds lass explained that food wastage is important to her because she owns her business with her girlfriend Charlotte – so when they throw food away they are “essentially chucking our own money away”.
Greg Wallace asked Molly how her girlfriend reacted when she told her she got through to the next round of the competition.
Molly said: She were right happy. We got engaged at the weekend!”
Greg and Marcus Wareing were shocked at her announcement.
Molly added: “We got engaged! We went to Dublin for the week and she got me a Celtic ring.
“And now I’ve got a fiancee!”
Molly made it to the next round and had to cook for another set of judges.
