First Blues match on your own

The memories of why you choose Blues got me reminiscing about those early days of going down. Usually with parents or family members but when was the first time you went on your own, without adults.

Mine was in 1993 against Barnsley for a night game won 3-0 with Andy Saville getting a brace.

Still remember getting in the 63 bus from rubery flyover with my mate Alex, waking down Digbeth and buying some chips to ear along the way and sitting in the old lower tier of the railway end. Savilles second when he slid in to seal the win, then looking over at the kop and seeing the silhouettes of fans against the gaps in the night sky
