Pa. Treasurer Garrity Warns of New Scam Targeting Property Tax/Rent Rebate Recipients

In this scam, callers claim to be from the Treasury and ask for a bank account number, supposedly so a Property Tax/Rent Rebate payment can be made by direct deposit.
