In her video, Michelle Dulevich (@michelledulevich) told viewers: “Let’s all create the most beautiful Christmas tree together this year.”
She recommended investing in disco baubles, which are available in a pack of 12 for $7 at Walmart.
The holiday expert explained: “Here’s a great tip, get these disco baubles no matter what your color scheme is.
“What I do is I’ll take them and if you have a little hole in the branches I’ll put them in, almost at touching the stem.”
Michelle explained that she used the reflective properties of the baubles to level up her Christmas tree.
She told her followers: “I’ll adjust a branch that has a light on it right in front of it.
“You don’t really see the bauble but you see it illuminated and it just makes the tree shiny and pretty.”
Michelle also offered a design hack that makes use of any leftover baubles.
“If you have a lantern, take some extra baubles and throw them in, in different colors, and just put a big bow on top,” she explained.
She recommended placing the lantern near the base of your Christmas tree.
“Set it by your plug so it kind of hides your cord if you have that problem,” Michelle said.
The design enthusiast concluded: “It looks super cute and coordinating.”
TikTok users took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the décor trick.
“Disco ball tip coming in HOT. That is so smart!” wrote one impressed viewer.
Another follower said: “My dad taught me to take shiny round ornaments and place them in the interior of the tree because they reflect light out.”
“Not me putting back disco ball ornaments yesterday because they didn’t match my décor,” commented a third person.
