TV channel Colors has partnered with the Ministry of Women and Child Development's 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' initiative to address girl child abandonment. The collaboration includes the launch of a new fiction show called Doree, which aims to raise awareness about this social issue. In addition to the show, Colors will also promote the Childline India helpline number for those seeking assistance for abandoned girl children. The show features actors Amar Upadhyay, Sudhaa Chandran, and child actor Mahi Bhanushali.
