The five-year direct jail sentence of Sibongile Mani, the Walter Sisulu University (WSU) student who spent more than R800 000 of the R14 million that the National Student Financial Aid Scheme erroneously deposited into her student account, has been set aside by the Eastern Cape High Court in Makhanda.
