New Portland State building to unify the School of Art and Design

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A new building is coming to Portland State that could add more culture to downtown Portland.

PSU received approval last month to build a new art and design center to help further unite the students in the School of Art and Design.

Alison Heryer, professor of textile arts and costume design at PSU, joined AM Extra to talk about the new building.
