Meet the women’s college basketball coaches with new Power 6 jobs this season

While the transfer portal dominated much of the chatter in women’s college basketball this past offseason, the coaching carousel was a big topic too. Across Division I, there were more than four dozen coaching changes in the sport.

Some were more noteworthy or impactful than others – like Dawn Plitzuweit replacing Lindsay Whalen at Minnesota after just one season at West Virginia, or Mark Campbell immediately hitting the portal after being hired at TCU from Sacramento State, bringing eight new players onto the roster.
