A CELEBRITY makeup artist with hooded eyes has revealed her best eyeliner hack to lift them.
Even though she has embraced her look, she has a single-product tip beauty trick that makes them look defined.
TikToker Jamie Greenberg (@jamiemakeup) created a video to show people with hooded eyes how to brighten their faces.
Jamie has done makeup for celebs like Chelsea Handler and Kaley Cuoco and has a TikTok following of over 340,000 people.
“So you’ve been blessed with hooded eyes,” she said in her post. “I’m gonna give you one tip that’s going to change your life.”
Jamie also told people to: “Accept that you have hooded eyes because what else are you gonna do?”
Hooded eyes are when the eyebrow and lid sag, “causing a bulge that can hide the upper eyelid,” according to Medical News Today.
People can be born with hooded eyes, or it’s something that can happen with aging.
The first and only thing product you need when defining hooded eyes is eyeliner or cream liner, Jamie said.
“We’re gonna fill in your water rim,” she said. “That is gonna open your eye.”
Traditionally, eyeliner is placed along the top side of the eyelash.
However, lining the water rim will add “definition to your eye.”
Jamie said you don’t have to do it near the lid, and joked: “We all know there’s a party going on under there.”
Jamie showed people how to apply the eyeliner in her mini-tutorial.
“I’m gonna lift the lashes and right where the lashes come out. I’m just gonna go back and forth with the eye pencil,” she said.
The final look was “defined, lifted and we didn’t even get near the lid.”
It’s a trick that anyone can use.
“This is a hack — really for everyone — but especially for hooded eyes,” Jamie finished. “It just kinda lifts everything and I love it.”
