MAFS fans hit out at Peggy’s parents as they ban her from sharing a room with Georges
MAFS fans have hit out at Peggy’s parents, branding her dad “savage”, after they banned her from sharing a room with husband Georges.
The couples on Married at First Sight are having their homestays week, which means facing their most dreaded prospect: meeting the parents.

Posh girl Peggy Rose was showing her husband around her family home when she revealed that due to her parents being traditional, the couple would have to stay in separate bedrooms.
Things went from bad to worse when Peggy’s dad started grilling Georges about his profession.
He made it clear that he expects anyone who has a relationship with his daughter to support her financially, and even went on to insult Georges saying it didn’t sound like he was very good at any job he’d worked.
Fans of the Channel 4 reality show were left disgusted by Peggy’s parents’ behaviour.
One person wrote: “Peggy’s parents are so RUDE.”
Another agreed: “Georges should just explain to Peggy’s parents that his gaming is a revenue stream, which will allow him to spend money on their precious princess. Or just run for the hills. She was obviously birthed by overindulgent nincompoops.”
An irate viewer sarcastically asked: “Do Peggy’s parents think they are Lords and Ladies?”
Others raged at the couple being forced into separate rooms, with one saying: “Your dad is traditional??? Do your mum and dad have separate rooms too? Umm, newsflash, it’s traditional for married couples to share a bed.”
A second hit out: “I understand fathers don’t like their daughters sharing a bed with a boyfriend in his house but FFS THEY’RE MARRIED!”
Some people also pointed out how infantilising it was, asking: “How old are you Peggy ffs?”
Another viewer agreed, writing: “Peggy, keep brushing that hair as looks like your parents will keep you locked in that tower just a little bit longer.”
