My husband does NO chores because he says ‘men can’t multitask’ so I’ve ditched him, says C5’s Wife on Strike Sam Hunt
MUM-of-five Sam Hunt has left her family to fend for themselves as she watches from the sidelines on Channel 5’s new reality show Wife on Strike.
Sam, 47, gave up her career to bring up their three daughters and now they’re grown up – she’s had enough.

She still looks after the entire home, the kids and the new family storage business while her husband Gary, looks after the “operations”.
“This place would be a pig sty if I didn’t do everything,” she said.
While her husband admitted “I’m no good at multi-tasking, Sam’s much better at that.
“I’m a firm believer that men are good at doing one task at a time, and women are better at coordinating.”
The couple share Gracie, 18, Oonagh, 16 and Caoimhe, 13.
“They have no respect for me,” Sam revealed sadly.
And when Sam leaves her family in Market Harborough, Leicestershire, she sees them do the same to her husband.
While he starts off trying to keep them happy, it soon goes downhill.
“I don’t want to be Mr Unpopular. I have always believed that every little girl should be treated like a princess,” he insists.
Soon a guilty Sam sees the girls treating their dad poorly as the dirty dishes and washing start piling up around the house.
Finally, even Gary snaps, claiming that only the kitchen surfaces are clean because the girls sit on them.
