Raiders’ Davante Adams Seemed to Rip Josh McDaniels While Sitting Courtside at College Hoops Game
Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams was sitting courtside Monday to watch some college basketball at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, where the roast of departed coach Josh McDaniels appeared to continue.
Before one of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Series games, a referee walked over to where Adams was sitting next to retired MLB outfielder Dexter Fowler. The official bounced the ball to Adams and let the Raiders star know he was in attendance for the team’s 30–6 win over the Giants on Sunday.
“Loved to see you guys get back on that winning track yesterday,” the ref said to Adams.
When Adams asked if the official went to the game on Sunday, the official confirmed.
“Section 312, right at the 50, man.”
It was then that Adams appeared to take a shot at McDaniels.
“It’s going to be better now,” Adams replied.
“I can tell already. Good vibes. I love it man,” the official said before Adams thanked him.

The brief interaction is the latest evidence that the Raiders locker room is in a much better state of mind upon McDaniels’s exit from the franchise last week. Although it was just one game, the Raiders appeared better coached on Sunday than in previous weeks.
After the game, the team smoked victory cigars in the locker room, with camaraderie appearing to be at an all-time high for the 2023 season.
The Raiders (4–5) play host to the Jets (4–4) on Sunday Night Football in Week 10, with kickoff from Allegiant Stadium scheduled for 8:20 p.m. ET.
