IndiGo expects to ground "mid-30s" aircraft in the fourth quarter due to a powder metal issue in Pratt & Whitney engines, which is in addition to the current Aircraft on Ground (AOG) count. This issue has been impacting the new generation GTF aircraft engines, leading to accelerated engine removals and subsequent groundings.
