Converse Decks the Chuck 70 With Reindeer and Gingerbread Men for Christmas

Converse loves decking out its Chucks for the holidays, having recently dropped a collection for Day of the Dead, and we’re already getting an idea of what the brand has planned for Christmas.

Official images have surfaced for two pairs of Chuck 70s that are drowning in merriment. Available in either brown or green, both variants appear to add felt paneling to their typical canvas construction. The green pair uses this fabric to create a Christmas tree with the heel at its center and a metallic gold star appearing near the top. Two unique gingerbread men than hang off the tree, with one sporting a Converse-branded satchel, and it’s like they’re attached via velcro to be placed as you please. Brown trim on and branding on the midsole matches the tongue for a bit of contrast, while a red outsole brings additional Christmas cheer.

The brown pair uses its felt or felt-like fabric on the lower half of the upper and comes with its own lone reindeer for decoration. It also features the same red outsole and brown accents as its green cohort, making for a more monochromatic, and both feature wide velvet laces in their respective dominant color. Each version also features yellow contrast stitching and metallic gold eyelets, as well as their own special All-Star logos on the medial sides. For the green Chuck 70, another gingerbread man hugs the All-Star logo. On the other, a reindeer is tucked away inside the star as more of an easter egg.

Converse hasn’t yet announced a release date for its Christmas-themed Chuck 70s, but it often releases its holiday sneakers with ample time left before the holiday itself. Pricing has yet to be confirmed either, but we’ll keep you abreast of any updates.
