Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala was granted protection by the Supreme Court of India from a 23-year-old criminal case where a non-bailable warrant issued by the MP/MLA court. The Congress leader has been directed to approach the court of special judge (MP/MLA) Varanasi for cancellation of the NBW within five weeks.
