I got Botox in my chin two days before my wedding, it made my smile so creepy, I didn’t look like a human being
EVERYONE wants to look like the best version of themselves on their wedding day.
However, one bride-to-be was left shocked by a Botox error two days before her big day.
In her video, Lauren (@lgambler) explained that she had gotten Botox on her chin ahead of her nuptials but noticed an immediate issue.
“I went to go get Botox for my wedding and I got it in my chin and apparently some seeped into my muscle,” she explained.
The TikToker revealed that the original error made her smile look wonky and her esthetician decided to add more Botox to fix the problem.
“My esthetician was like ‘Let’s even it out and put it on both sides so it’s even at least,'” Lauren told her followers.
While her smile was no longer lopsided, the bride was left with a less-than-natural look.
In a second clip, Lauren recorded her “meltdown” over the situation while sitting in her car.
She explained: “I tried to make jokes out of it and play it off or whatever but I don’t think it’s funny anymore.
“I can’t stop crying and everyone keeps walking by and looking at me like I’m weird.”
She attempted to smile again but became even more upset at the “creepy” result.
“It gets worse every time,” Lauren told viewers through her tears.
She explained that she was trying to be positive about the situation but was really struggling.
Lauren also informed her followers that there was nothing that could be done to reverse the procedure and she would have to wait several days for the effect to wear off.
In a third video, the newlywed reflected on the unfortunate incident but revealed that her wedding photos weren’t ruined.
“I accepted the fact that I just might hate some of my photos and it’s OK because my wedding was the best day of my life,” she said.
However, her wedding photographer, who she described as “the best person ever,” came to the rescue.
“She offered to do bridal shots for me after the wedding after my Botox goes away so I can look like a normal human being,” Lauren said.
Lauren’s followers took to the comment section to share their own experiences with Botox.
“Yup, I will never get Botox anywhere near my mouth or masseters again. Totally made my face look weird for two months,” wrote one viewer.
Another TikTok user said: “I hate my lip flip smile but I’d be devastated if I was getting married before this wore off. You look perfect though!”
“Mine was my TOP LIP!! I tried to get a lip flip and ended up not being able to lift my top lip. If it helps, your smile doesn’t look unnatural,” commented a third person.
