Workers of the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and Congress clashed in Achampet town of Nagarkurnool district before the Telanagana Assembly election. MLA Guvvala Balaraju sustained injuries during the clashes, and was rushed to a hospital in Hyderabad. Congress leaders suspected the MLA was distributing money to voters, leading to an argument and chaos.
