Indonesian ex-telecoms minister gets 15 year jail term for corruption

JAKARTA, Indonesia: On November 8, former Indonesian communications minister Johnny G. Plate was sentenced to 15 years in prison for receiving 17.8 billion rupiah ($1.14 million) in kickbacks related to the construction of telecommunication towers.
