Hounslow fire: 70 firefighters rush to blaze as it rips through home as members of the public warned to avoid the area
AROUND 70 firefighters battled a massive house fire last night that engulfed most of a mid-terrace property.
Ten fire engines were on the scene in West London through the night dealing with the blaze.
The whole of the ground and first floor of the home on Channel Close, Hounslow, were alight and much of the roof.
There are road closures in place and people are advised to avoid the area where possible.
Firefighters will remain on scene in to the morning.
The London Fire Brigade was called at 10.26pm last night and the fire was under control by 1.25am this morning.
Fire crews from Heston, Southall, Twickenham, Hayes, Feltham and surrounding fire stations attended the scene.
