I clean celebrity houses – 2 products I swear by to make bathrooms perfect & why I NEVER use microfibre cloths on loos
A PROFESSIONAL cleaner has revealed the two products she swears by when she cleans celebrity homes.
The Kent-based woman uploaded a video sharing how you don’t need to fork out for expensive cleaning products, when the two she has do the job just fine.
On her @diamondgemcleaning account, she shared: “I’ve been a professional cleaner for over 10 years and I do clean for some famous people.”
She shared how you simply need some white vinegar and some Mr Sheen spray.
First you need to spray your shower glass and all chrome items such as taps and drains with the white vinegar.
After giving it a scrub, she then used the Mr Sheen spray on the top and wiped it off with a dry cloth.
The cleaner, who at one point employed seven people and cleaned around 60 to 70 houses a week, said: “Mr Sheen, give it a go on your chrome or mirrors, it’s my favourite thing.”
Next up, she tackled the toilet – and she said she never uses microfibre cloths on them.
The cleaner explained: “I just don’t think they are very hygienic.”
She then gets on her hands and knees and cleans the floor using disinfectant.
The celebrity housekeeper explains that she only ever uses “really basic” products rather than forking out on the expensive ones.
She also swears by using soap pads with her white vinegar.
The cleaner previously said: “This will not scratch the chrome, it won’t scratch the glass, It won’t damage the sink, it just leaves everything really shiny.”
The soap pads, which can be sold for 90p on some online stores, which help to quickly eliminate grime and residue on household items.
Whilst filming herself using the scrubbing tool, she says: “I use it on all this chrome.
“Don’t forget the shower bit here.
“I use it on the radiators.
“This will not scratch, it just leaves everything shiny.”
The cleaner then filmed the end results which was a sparkling tap.
She adds: “I do use lots of clothes and that’s what I did to achieve these results.
“I just wiped away the excess on the baths.
“My clients are really happy with the results.”
