TEAMtalk have revealed that Manchester United and Manchester City have made contact over a January deal for Irish defensive prospect Sam Curtis, who is also said to be on Tottenham’s radar.
Curtis broke into the St Patrick’s Athletic first-team back in 2021 and despite being 17 years of age, has already made 53 appearances for the club.
The right-back, who can also operate in the centre of defence, has made five appearances for the Republic of Ireland Under-21s and TEAMtalk say that he is now on the verge of a senior call-up.

Tottenham are looking at Irish starlet Sam Curtis
The outlet asserts that several Premier League clubs, including Spurs, are now keeping tabs on the teenager ahead of January.
The report names Everton, Newcastle, Aston Villa, and Sheffield United as Curtis’ admirers, but it is explained that the two Manchester clubs have been the first ones to reach out over a potential deal.
The publication adds that as thing stands, City and United look ready to battle it out for the young full-back’s signature when the transfer window reopens.
Spurs Web Opinion
Tottenham’s recruitment policy has evidently shifted over the last year or so, with the club now more focused on signing the best emerging talent. So, one would expect the Lilywhites to vie for Curtis’ signature if he is made available for sale.
