Martin Lewis Money Show viewers demand huge shake-up after Angellica Bell is sacked from ITV hit
MARTIN Lewis Money Show viewers demanded a huge shake-up tonight after the sacking of co-host Angellica Bell.
The Sun revealed last week how the presenter was “secretly sacked” from the ITV hit with “no warning”.
And fans took to X, formerly twitter, while the consumer show was on the air tonight to demand she is reinstated.
“BRING BACK ANGELLICA,” one vented.
Another simply posted: “Angellica Bell appreciation tweet.”
A third weighed in: “I’m missing Angellica.”
“Where is she?” begged a fourth.
The former CBBC presenter was all set to return to film series 13 of the hit show last month, only to be unceremoniously dumped by show bigwigs.
A couple of days before shooting was due to commence Angellica was told she would no longer be required on the programme.
Producers claimed her decision to appear on Channel 5‘s rival show, Shop Smart, Save Money, was a conflict of interest.
However, insiders insist to The Sun that producers were aware of Angellica’s decision to take part in the show, including name changes of the rival programme – which used to be called The Gadget Show.
Rather than announce her exit officially, the programme are yet to acknowledge the shake-up.
A source close to the show said: “Everyone is stunned by the move – no one saw it coming.
“Angellica has been an integral part of the show since 2017 so for her to be bumped off air with no warning is crazy.
“Staff have naturally been talking and find the whole thing really awkward and unfair, but Martin is trying to keep out of it as it wasn’t up to him.”
