Philippine remittances grow by 2.6 pct in September

MANILA, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- Personal remittances from overseas Filipinos reached 3.23 billion U.S. dollars in September, 2.6 percent higher than the 3.15 billion dollars recorded a year earlier, the Philippine central bank said on Wednesday.
