Mum’s ‘trendy’ toddler outfit choices get branded ‘totally inappropriate’ but she doesn’t see the problem with any of it
A MUM has been labelled “inappropriate” after showing the unique, on-trend outfits she dresses her toddler in.
Stephanie, who has three children, regularly shares videos of her kids on her TikTok page, which has over 42 million likes.
But the clothes she chooses for one of her daughters sees her often subjected to comments from trolls.
She hit back in a video of her little girl on her TikTok page, as she showed some of the ensembles she’s worn.
“OMG stop dressing her inappropriately and dress her like a baby,” she wrote over the top – one of the comments she most regularly hears.
In the clip, the tot was seen wearing a cropped white t-shirt with silk trousers, a vest top and combat trousers, fluffy sliders, an orange playsuit and leopard-print bag and a Louis Vuitton print tracksuit.
Unwilling to accept the criticism, Stephanie added in the video caption: “It’s called fashion!”
Despite her remark, trolls were still out in force in the comments section.
“Why do you dress her like that?” one wrote.
“It’s adorable but there’s weird creepy people on here.”
“Yeah, but it’s also called growing up too fast,” another said.
“She is pretty but she is a CHILD she should still be dressing like a princess,” a third said.
“She will look back and wonder why she dressed like this!”
“She looks like a woman,” someone else agreed.
“When she grows up she will realise that she never go to wear ‘child clothing’.”
“I love that but I still think kids should be kids and then maybe slowly dress her in things like this,” another added.
But others defended Stephanie and her daughter.
“I think it’s kinda cute tho,” one wrote.
“Tooo cute!!! I love her outfits,” another commented.
“She is sooo cute and beautiful, I love all of her outfits they all look so cute on her,” a third commented.
“F**k the haters she’s adorable in everything she wears, little mama is a diva !!! Period,” someone else said.
“She dresses better then me!” another laughed.
