THE I’m A Celebrity campmates will have more than just dicky dinners to worry about in camp.

A number of snakes have been removed by experts in recent days, with I’m A Celebrity’s Health and Safety Officer Jeremy Douglas admitting the weather has seen more than ever in camp.

He said: “We have had a lot of snakes on the site this year, possibly because it has been so humid.

“We have had pythons, and non-venomous and venomous species.

“You get small eyed snakes and brown tree snakes predominantly.”

Executive producer Laura Woolf added: “We’ve had 15 snake sightings across the site and then we’ve had to identify some venomous ones in camp.

“It gets worse when the celebs come in because they leave food everywhere. It’s like they don’t realise they’re living in a jungle!”

Snakes aren’t the only critters the stars will be dealing with, as the camp has also had an influx of blood sucking leeches.

When the 12 stars, including Nigel Farage and Jamie Lynn Spears, start filming this weekend they will also have to face strict rules around smoking.

A crackdown by the Australian government on vaping in New South Wales means any stars craving their nicotine fix from a plastic cigarette are out of luck.

While smokers can keep up their bad habit, including Nigel Farage who goes through ten cigarettes a day, any of the stars who vape will have to visit a doctor first and get a specialist prescription.

Exec producer Laura said: “If they want a cigarette they have to request one and go off one by one. They come up to the Bush Telegraph, everything goes through there.

“They can vape although in NSW if they want to smoke nicotine they need a prescription. They are trying to cut down on it.”
