I’d walked around D.C. for hours before a friend pointed out an issue with my leggings – my Lululemon dupes did me dirty
AFTER strolling around the nation’s capital, one woman discovered she was showing a little more than she’d meant to.
She said her Lululemon dupes failed her — and she’d spent hours out and about in Washington, D.C., giving people a show.
Katryce (@thefunnymomma) had her friend film the mortifying moment in a video on TikTok.
“I can see your skin,” her friend Celeste could be heard saying off camera.
“Everywhere?” Katryce asked, looking shocked.
Celeste asked her to turn around, clearly showing that the leggings were a bit transparent.
Instead of feeling defeat, Katryce took the incident in stride and laughed.
“The way Celeste just casually mentioned it,” the caption read. “I had been walking around D.C. alone for hours before this.”
The video drew in many viewers who shared their thoughts in the comment section.
One viewer blamed the wardrobe malfunction on buying dupes instead of the real deal.
“Don’t get the Lululemon dupes, sis,” one wrote. “They’ll do you dirty.”
“They did me so dirty,” Katryce replied.
Others empathized with her situation, giving their own similar anecdotes.
“I’d been there the other day and they were Topshop leggings, didn’t think they would be see through,” another added.
“That happened to me before. I literally took a cab home. I was so embarrassed,” yet another wrote.
“This is why I can’t wear thin pants,” one more commented.
